Lock Screen + Home Screen Pair

Matching Wallpapers Built Together

Generate matching lock-screen and home-screen wallpapers from one image.

Drop an image or click to upload

Free to try.

iOS lets you set a different wallpaper for the lock screen and home screen. This tool generates a matching pair from one source image — two crops or variants that feel intentional together rather than mismatched. Drop your source, pick a layout, get both wallpapers ready to install.

Why pair lock and home

The same image often doesn't work equally well on both screens — the lock screen has a clock zone in the upper third, while the home screen has icons throughout. A single wallpaper that satisfies one tends to compromise the other.

The fix: a coordinated pair. Same colour palette, same vibe, but cropped or laid out differently so each screen serves its purpose. Lock screen: clock-friendly, dramatic central composition. Home screen: subtle, lets icons read.

Pair generation modes

 • Smart crop pair: AI picks the best crop of your source for each screen.
 • Variation pair: same source, different colour grades (e.g. lock = vibrant, home = subtle desaturated).
 • Composition pair: lock = subject-centred, home = same subject blurred behind cleaner foreground.
 • Day/night pair: lock = light/day; home = dark/night — useful for ambient mode.

How to use

 1. Upload source image.
 2. Pick iPhone model for correct dimensions.
 3. Pick pair mode.
 4. Preview both screens in the side-by-side mock-up.
 5. Download the pair as a zip with both files.

Combine with widgets

For lock-screen widgets that complement the wallpaper, leave room in your composition for the widget zone (above and below the clock). The preview shows it.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work on Android?

Currently iPhone-focused. Android stock launcher uses a single wallpaper across both screens.

Can I just use one image for both?

You can — but the tool exists because the same image rarely works equally well on both.

Will iOS auto-darken the home screen wallpaper?

iOS 16+ has 'tinting' that darkens home wallpapers slightly for icon legibility. Our home wallpaper output anticipates this.

Can I edit the pair manually?

Yes — drop the auto-generated pair into our Color Correction or other edit tools.

Maximum file size?

25 MB upload.

Output format?

PNG or HEIC. Both work for iOS wallpapers.

Bulk processing?

Premium: yes — generate pairs across an image set.

Are uploads private?

Yes — deleted within 24 hours.
