Does this work on iPhone?
Yes. We export an iOS Live Photo bundle (HEIC + MOV) that drops straight into Photos. From there, Settings → Wallpaper → Live Photo. Works on every iPhone since the iPhone 6s.
Does this work on Android?
Yes. We export a 4-second loop MP4 that any modern Android (10+) can set as a wallpaper through the Settings → Wallpaper picker. Samsung One UI, OxygenOS, MIUI, and stock Android all accept it. For older phones, set the MP4 as your lock-screen video via the manufacturer's wallpaper app.
How long does it take?
60–120 seconds per render, depending on queue. Premium users skip the free-tier queue and get priority processing (~30 seconds).
What's the difference between free and premium?
Free: 720p with a small Wallpapers.com watermark, MP4 only. Premium: full 1290×2796 (iPhone Pro Max) or 1080×2400 (Android), no watermark, full Live Photo bundle (HEIC + MOV) so it works as an iOS Lock-Screen Live Photo, and 4-second to 30-second loops.
Can I use my own photo or does it have to be a stock photo?
Your own photo. Upload anything you have the rights to (your vacation shot, your pet, your kid, your AI-generated art). Don't upload photos of other people without their consent — that's our TOS and most countries' law.
Why is the loop 4 seconds instead of longer?
iOS Live Photos are capped at ~3 seconds before iCloud downsamples them. Android wallpapers can be longer but most users find loops over 6 seconds distracting. We've found 4 seconds is the visual sweet spot — short enough to feel intentional, long enough that the parallax breathes.
Can I use it as a TikTok or Instagram Reel background?
Yes — the MP4 export is standard H.264 and works in any video editor. Many creators use our live wallpapers as ambient video backdrops for green-screen TikToks.
